DETERMINED – Donovan has a very strong will and he will set out to complete whatever he is wanting to accomplish. Absolutely nothing will get in his way and that often means he makes moves he regrets later, only to accomplish his goal. But if he has made himself proud for finishing his task, he doesn’t care what it took to get there. At least, not right away.
STUBBORN – A very hardheaded boy, Donovan has to get his way. Always. He is competitive and strong-willed, which lead him to the desire to stand up for whatever he is representing or debating. He won’t give in without a fight (whether physical or emotional) and he must get the last word in. He can’t walk away having been taken advantage of by someone else. Especially if someone tells him he can’t do something. His rebellious side mixes with his stubbornness, and he’s hell-bent on making it happen.
MISCHEVIOUS – Donovan has always been a bit of a rebel. Growing up in the orphanage, he immediately started acting out to be noticed. The day he realized that the kids who make themselves stand out are the kids who get a new home, he started doing things that would attract attention – even if it meant stealing or panting the walls. He’s been a rather shady character ever since, and he can be pretty troublesome.
UNRELIABLE – Though loyal, Donovan isn’t necessary reliable. He hardly ever shows up to gigs on time, he’ll usually skip around on the jobs he’s given, and if he says he’ll be somewhere… chances are, he won’t show up. Unless it’s something really important, he simply forgets. Which makes him a tad bit flighty. He may show up, he may not. He’s loyal so he’ll have your back, but he just may not come to your birthday party if he forgets.
CLEVER – Donovan may not be the most intelligent boy on the block, but he is quick-witted and very clever. He’s sharp in the ways of quick thinking, and he can toss jokes around with seasoned professionals. Sure, he doesn’t read too many books and he can’t hold his own at trivia… but he can come up with some pretty good pick-up lines at the spur of the moment. And he’s famous for his ability to think up ways to work himself out of a predicament at the last second. Like jumpstarting a car with his belt, for example.
HONEST – Everything Donovan says is truthful. He has never once lied in his life, and he prides himself on this fact. Though he may not be the most reliable of people, he will always be honest and that’s never going to change. The only problem with his honesty is that he can be pretty blunt with it. He’ll tell you how he feels, without thinking twice about it. He says it likes it is, and he’ll give you an answer you may not want. But at least he’s being honest.
FLIRTATIOUS – Donovan likes the ladies. This is no mystery to anyone who knows him. And he can be a bit of a flirt at times. That doesn’t mean he isn’t romantic, because he is actually a closet hopeless romantic. He’d never tell anyone about that, though. Never! For now, he’s fine with the flirty side of life. Less rejection that way, which is one of the things he fears most. He can be quite charming, and he uses it to his advantage.
LEADER – Ever since he was a child, Donovan has always possessed leadership qualities. He immediately claimed the role of leader in his orphanage, claiming seniority. He has a great mind for figuring things out and making plans, so he’s a born leader. He’ll go the extra mile to make sure everyone is happy with a project, and that’s always a bonus for a good chief player. The only problem is, he’s a control freak as a result. If he isn’t in charge, he tends to spaz out about the details that get missed when he can’t fix them. Too bad he’s just the drummer.
