» sign up to everything asap, we don't want any pb or canon fights now, do we?
» we've got a word count of five hundred words, pretty simple, and this way it cuts out any one liners.
» no stealing, from characters to plots. feel free to ask to borrow a layout, but no taking anything from anyone without that person's permission.
» if you're taking time off for any reason, please leave a message in the away board. that way there will be no mixups if you disappear for a while and your character accidentally gets deleted.
» have any concerns or problems? feel free to ask a staff member, we're here to help! you can catch us on PM, in the cbox, or on IM.
» six character maximum, any more and you'll have to ask permission from the staff team. as long as you're keeping them all active, as many as you want is fine with us.
» with your main account as the exception, one character per account with both your character's first and last name.
» please, no mary-sues or any male equivalent. spice your character up a bit. in fact, the more interesting the better.
» when it comes to boy-girl ratios, pregnancies, twins, and all the rest there are no current bans. but if you see the boys getting high - try to make a girl. and try not to have every girl out there pregnant, either. if you want a set of twins, triplets, etc. please ask an admin before you go ahead!
» be original with your playby choices. we're not saying you can't have pete wentz in a fall out boy sounding band, just try to spice it up with throwing in nick santino as a screamer - or something of the like. and try to keep playbys in a realistic age bracket.
» please, no sexors on the boards - keep that to the ics if you wish you dirty buggers. this is a band site, so expect swearing, drinking and the like.
» don't ask if you can make a band for your character. band name suggestions, and genre suggestions are all fine. the only time we will offer the chance to make a band is in contests or special events.
» canons are there to give a basic plot to work from and have fun with, which is why we're asking you keep them as close to the description. as long as you ask the admins though, we'll happily change ages as long as they're in a few of years bracket to the original age.
» we've actually got a code which stops any images from stretching the board, but try to keep you images to 500px wide. this way you'll graphic will not turn out distorted.
» sig wise anything 500px wide and 350px tall is good enough to make a sig out of, please don't make them any bigger than this.
» we have a bigger avatar size, but please keep it in proportion and make sure it doesn't stretch the boards. if this becomes a problem stricter rules will have to be set in place.
» please credit if you're taking a sig from a site like caution, or if it's made by someone else - unless they say otherwise.
» no nudity, please.
» we have many members with graphical skills; if you're looking for a sig and aren't very graphic confident feel free to ask one of us and i'm sure we could sort something out for you :3
