» born in france but moved to south africa as a baby for her father's job. was raised in south africa until age nineteen when she moved to europe, just to get away from her parents.
» spoiled as she grew up, seeing as she was an only child. lived the good life.
» when she was twenty-one, her father decided to leave her mother, saying that the marriage wasn't what it once was to him. called her father a selfish cunt and had a giant falling-out with him.
» continued to keep in touch with her mother, keeping a careful eye on her after the divorce.
» received a phone call from her grandmother (father's mother) at age twenty-three saying that he was terminally ill with cancer and only had a few days left.
» got a flight to south africa as soon as possible. spent one last day with him in the hospital, trying to make up for all that lost time.
» went back to europe and tried to continue on with her life as normally as possible. jumped at the chance to join the tour and do something interesting with her life. still has an incredible amount of guilt for not speaking with her father for two or so years.
